Epicor Scala expands channel, announces INTERCOL as partner for Bahrain, UAE & Qatar

Commenting on its focus on reinforcing its channel presence in the MEA region by joining hands with leading regional IT companies, senior officials of Epicor Scala in the Middle East said the new partner, INTERCOL, will enhance the company's presence in the region by providing Epicor's enterprise business solutions viz., iScala ERP suite, Epicor for Service Enterprises, Supplier Relationship Management and IT Service Management solutions, to customers in these countries.

Mr. Basil Daniells, sales director of Epicor Scala MEA, said,

'We are in the process of streamlining our channel strategy and are appointing new channel partners to expand our geographical footprint. The need to reinforce the channel presence is an imperative for Epicor Scala as our business expands with new and potential users for our ERP suite and other enterprise products coming on board.'

Epicor Scala had recently announced new channel partnerships in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait with leading providers of cutting-edge IT solutions, viz., Amwaj IT and Conjoint Development Group respectively.

'The new channel partnerships have come in the backdrop of our assessment that the market for intelligent ERP solutions is expanding in the region. For instance, according to an Epicor AC Neilsen survey we carried out recently, almost three quarters of companies in Saudi Arabia are looking to deploy or upgrade their ERP solutions,' Mr. Daniells said.

Commenting on the alliance with INTERCOL, he added, 'INTERCOL, with its experienced leadership, top-notch team and rich knowledge of the local needs, is well positioned to take our market share in Bahrain, UAE and Qatar to the next level.'
