Drake and Scull Facilities Management wins HSBC Facilities Contract

Drake & Scull Facilities Management (DSFM), an EMCOR Company, have been awarded the Integrated Facilities Management Services contract for all commercial offices, branches and management villas and apartments of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited in the United Arab Emirates.

The contract includes mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) and specialist systems maintenance including Lifts, building Management systems, CCTV, access control, fire prevention, standby generation and landscaping.

In addition, DSFM have implemented a 24X7 central service desk supported by a sophisticated computerised asset management system for handling and processing of all facilities and maintenance requests.

Speaking on the contract, Mr. Scott Wilson, Managing Director at DSFM, said:
"We are pleased to be awarded this prestigious contact by HSBC. Our involvement in the initiative is a reflection of DSFM's reputation and the expertise earned by being associated with some of the most prestigious projects in the region."


Mr. R. Rae Todd, Corporate Real Estate Manager at HSBC, said: "The award of this contract to DSFM followed a comprehensive review process and our requirement to rationalise and consolidate our FM Support Services. We are also seeking to improve service quality, efficiency and reduce the overall cost of FM Support across our entire portfolio in the UAE."

This Facilities Management Operations Contract complements various divisions within DSFM, which also includes Facilities Management Consultancy, Energy Management, Systems Solutions, Facilities Project Management and Specialist Lighting Solutions.
