Rudolph 'Rudy' Giuliani wowed by ASPIRE

The former mayor of New York, Rudolph 'Rudy' Giuliani, visited the ASPIRE Academy for Sports Excellence in Doha yesterday and expressed his admiration for its facilities and long-term ambitions.
During the visit, the group were briefed on the Academy's goal of discovering and training the next generation of potential sporting champions.
Giuliani commented: "There is nothing like this anywhere in the world. ASPIRE is a fantastic achievement for Qatar and I am looking forward to seeing the academy develop in the coming years."
At the end of the tour, Dr. Thomas Flock, Director General of ASPIRE, presented Giuliani with a souvenir ASPIRE medal to remind him of his trip.
Dr. Flock said: "We are honoured and delighted to welcome Mayor Giuliani to our Academy and to share our vision for developing talented student athletes and helping them to succeed. Mr. Giuliani is seen as an inspirational figure who has offered inspiring leadership during his time as mayor of New York, and we're pleased that he was able to spend time with us and share some of his experience."
