Largest gathering of CIOs to be hosted in Riyadh next month

Under the Patronage of HH Prince Bandar bin Salman Al Saud, the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Computer Society is organizing the Saudi CIO Summit 2006.

Over 400 CIOs, IT managers and administration & finance managers are expected to participate in the event, which will take place in Riyadh on February 13-15, 2006 at the King Faisal Conference Hall, Intercontinental Hotel.

"Business Process Management (BPM) will be the main theme of Summit, and topics to be covered will include: BPM methodologies, business process and automated business applications, change management, forms management, ERP/GRP, relevant case studies and success stories " said Eng. Mohammed Al-Kharashi, Supervisor of the event.

He added,

"A highly focused exhibition will run concurrently with the summit. The sponsors of the summit will showcase their latest technologies, solutions, products and services in BPM-related areas".


Experts and specialists in the field of Business Process Management will address the Forum. They include speakers from: Ministry of CIT, Ministry of Water and Electricity, Ministry of Higher Education, Council of Saudi Chambers, King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, Saudi Airlines, STC, Holool, Oracle, Devoteam, and Cisco Systems.
