DCCI receives Consul General of Malaysia

Abdulrahman G. Al Mutaiwee the Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry DCCI received the Malaysian Consul General Nadzri Shamsudin and Remee Yaakub Vice Consul of Malaysia.
Shamsudin has appointed the visit of the Malaysian Minister of agriculture and agricultural industries to the UAE next February to participate in a seminar will take place in Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai. He expressed his interest in this visit to boost and enhance the bilateral commercial and economical cooperation between the two countries. The Consul General invited the DCCI President to participate and attend the seminar.
Al Mutaiwee welcomed the visit of Malaysian Minister which will develop new relations between the two sides. He expressed DCCI's interest in these seminars which would further develop the commercial and economical relations between Dubai and Malaysia.
The statistics shows that the total non oil bilateral trade between Dubai and Malaysia increased from about 1.3 billions dirhams (353 million US dollars) in year 2000 to 3.89 billions dirhams (1.06 billion US dollars) in 2004.
