Other product categories including Toshiba's multi-functional copiers, multimedia projectors and Alcatel Enterprise communication systems also posted record sales by securing orders from several prestigious clients such as ADMA/OPCO, GEMS educational institutes, ADIA, ADCB and Higher Colleges of Technology.
Detailing the reasons for its stellar performance, R. Muralidharan, General Manager, Al-Futtaim Technologies, said;

These included Toshiba's Libretto U100, UAE's first mini-notebook, Toshiba's feature-rich TDP-P8 portable projector and a range of E-studio copiers equipped with latest e-bridge technology. Through its exclusive tie-up with Alcatel and Microsoft's Customer Relationship Management solutions, Al-Futtaim Technologies continued to offer sophisticated communication systems.'
In 2005, Al-Futtaim Technologies also enhanced the deployment of its fleet management systems and telematics deploying wireless and satellite communications across the GCC through its exclusive tie-up with MobiApps. A significant initiative in 2005 was the partnership with Alcatel to sell, deploy and maintain Alcatel enterprise solutions in Pakistan.
