FG Wilson (Engineering) FZE opens its new 15,000 square meter facility at Jafza

The high-tech 15,000 square meter facility was inaugurated by Bill Rohner, Vice-President of Caterpillar Inc., USA, and Salma Hareb, Chief Executive Officer, Jafza in the presence of Doug Oberhelman, Group President of Caterpillar Inc., USA, P. Ian Moore, Vice-President - Sales & Dealer Support, FG Wilson Engineering, UK and other dignitaries.

FG Wilson (Engineering) FZE has been operating in Jafza since 1991, and the new facility is expected to further consolidate the company's position in the power generating sets market in the region.

Alok Rawat, Managing Director, FG Wilson (Engineering) FZE said: "This state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar modern premises shall integrate a large warehouse, a regional training centre, fully equipped service bay and the administration block. The new facility will act as the Regional Centre of Excellence for Power Generation Solutions in the region and shall play an instrumental role in achieving our vision of becoming the leader in customer value, in the field of power generation."

"Our association with Jebel Ali free zone dates back to over a decade and we have been totally satisfied by the facilities available here. The regular expansion in infrastructure at Jafza has helped us carry out operations smoothly and efficiently and we are looking forward to operate from our new premises," added Rawat.

FG Wilson (Engineering) FZE sells the complete range of its diesel generators from 5.5 KVA to 2200 KVA Load Transfer Panels and Gas Generator sets. The company has a dedicated and qualified team of engineers headed by Naveen D'Souza, Manager-Power Systems, who work closely with the factory and can provide solutions to specialised genset requirements.
