DTCM-DCB launch third edition of Meeting & Event Planner's Guide

"Dubai's strategic geographical location, impressive infrastructure, cosmopolitan population, world class properties and convenient air connections play a crucial role in enabling the world to host prestigious events of any size", said DTCM Director General Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem in his foreword in the guide.

"The emirate enjoys a pioneering position in MICE industry due to the successful establishment of the Dubai Convention Bureau," he said adding that the emirate's world class MICE facilities were being expanded further to match the growing expectations of the international industry."

More than 10,000 copies of the Definitive Meeting and Event Planners Guide will be distributed to meet the MICE market needs.

Dubai Convention Bureau Director, Mr. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi said: "Dubai Convention Bureau has been working to promote and market Dubai as an excellent MICE destination throughout the year. We work to make every meeting, convention a huge success and the participants' stay memorable.

"That Dubai hosted major MICE events in the recent years and is preparing to host prestigious events like the World Dental Congress and the World Association of Cooks Societies, speak volumes about our strengths and capabilities," Mr. Al Ketbi added.

The 2006 edition has updated information about the different leisure and business options that are available in Dubai.
