"Children for Children" programme is an initiative by GEMS, which involves their UAE schools to collectively generate donations for underprivileged children in the UAE.

Lakshmi Ramachandran, Principal of The Millennium School said, "It has been the aim of our school to create and capitalize on opportunities that help us contribute to the society. Moreover, such initiatives help reinforce the GEMS Core values such as World Citizenship, Leadership Thinking, Universal Values and Forward Thinking in our students".

Students from kindergarten up to grade 4 performed in various musicals such as, 'Moon Magic', 'The Ugly Duckling' and, 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. The performance of each student displayed their understanding of the purpose of this event.

Continuing the tradition of all GEMS musical productions, this entire concert proved to be a resounding success in creating opportunities for each child to discover new talents and interests, and to develop key social, personal and moral skills in order to be a star.
