Exhibitor commercial conference from the world's experts in security and safety

Intersec 2006, the leading security trade fair and conference in the Middle East, taking place from 29 - 31 January 2006, Dubai World Trade Exhibition Centre, is just around the corner and set to be a prominent event.
23 of the industry's experts will be discussing essential factors of commercial security, fire and policing. Each will offer advice and presentations of the latest technology.
On Sunday 29th Jan at 14.15, one of the speakers is Richard Pires, Country Manager, Dubai from Norbain SD Ltd. Norbain are the UK's largest distributor of electronic safety systems. Their products and services include CCTV, access control and intruder detection equipment. Richard's talk is on 'Quality Vs Cost'.
Bart Otten, President of one of the world's major players, GE Security, UAE, will be talking on Monday 2nd at 13.15 about 'Security in an Insecure World'. The talk will cover intelligent security systems to deter terrorists, reduce fraud, and protect human lives another interesting subject covered is protection of personal data.
The Justice of British Columbia, who are experts in many areas including policing, fire, emergency vehicle operations and emergency management, will have 2 talks over the 3 day conference, the first on Monday 2nd at 14.15, Glen Maddess, Director of Fire and Safety Division talks through 'Public Safety the Canadian Way: Lessons Learned on Inter-Agency Cooperation from a Fire Perspective'.
The second talk is from Steve Watt, Director, Police Academy, who talks about 'Technology on Policing, Facing Future Challenges in Training and Operational Practices'. This will take place on Tuesday 4th at 12.00.
Smiths Detection, world leaders of products to safeguard society against terrorism, their Director of International Sales Trade Products, David Martinak will be speaking on Tuesday 31st at 12.45 on 'Meeting Tomorrow's Security Challenges'.
The Show, scheduled to be at the Dubai World Trade Exhibition Centre from 29-31 January, 2006, is expected to attract around 8,500 visitors from the region.
