New General Manager at Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai

Michael Nugent has returned to Dubai after a 10 year- hiatus to join Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai as General Manager. Nugent started his GCC experience at Le Meridien, Dubai in the mid- nineties before going on to join the opening team of Le Meridien Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After three challenging years there, he was appointed General Manager at Le Gulf Meridien in Al Khobar, one of the Kingdom's premier properties.

Six happy and successful years later, the time was right to move to pastures new and the call of the region's fastest and growing and most exiting destinations was just too strong to resist.

His wife Alison and two daughters, Emily and Lauren who are just as excited, as he is to be back in the U.A.E, join him. Nugent said,

Prior to his time in the GCC, Nugent has worked in the hospitality industry in Baghdad, Iraq and many locations throughout the UK and his country of Ireland. He studied Hotel and Catering Management at the College of Business Studies, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
