FedEx strengthens regional sales team with new appointment

Federal Express Corp. ('FedEx Express'), the world's largest express transportation company, today announced the appointment of Guillaume Sauzier as the new Regional Sales Manager for Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar, Oman, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

In his new position, Sauzier will focus on maintaining FedEx' world-class service standards, and increasing market share. This appointment further strengthens FedEx' position within the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Sub-Sahara Africa and marks the company's continued commitment to the region.

With over eight years of distribution, logistics and management experience, Sauzier joined FedEx in 1999 as District Sales Manager for Paris and the west of France. He now joins a Regional Sales team based in Dubai and will report to Jude Fonseka, the Managing Director of Sales for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Sub-Sahara Africa Region.

"I am delighted to take on this new role and look forward to working with the sales team to strengthen the FedEx brand in the region," said Sauzier. "We will continue to offer customers the high quality products and services they expect from a global carrier."

Sauzier joins a Regional Sales team that includes Colin Rozario, Dubai based District Sales Manager for the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait and four District Sales Managers based in India.
