The new line-up of printers include the HP Color Laserjet 4700 and the HP Color Laserjet 3000 and 3800 series, which aims at highlighting HP's contribution to the color revolution in the Middle East.

Commenting on the new line-up of products, Amin Mortazavi, Business Manager, Commercial Core HP Imaging and Printing Group said:

"With its legendary reliability and technical innovations, HP is the industry leader in print technology. HP's breakthrough Color LaserJet series now allows businesses to gain competitive advantage by controlling printing and reducing outsourcing costs. Our new line-up ensures outstanding results, whatever your budget or printing requirements are."

LaserJet 4700
HP has launched its Color LaserJet 4700 series of printers targeted at workgroups in small and medium businesses (SMBs). A hallmark of the new series is its multiple advantages for workgroups, especially for in-house printing functions, as it promotes more users and greater volumes.

The new LaserJet 4700 series is designed to complement and streamline their productivity with its superior benefits. All models in this series feature the new HP ColorSphere Toner which enables a dynamic range of bright, brilliant colours and offers conveniently timed calibrations for consistent colour output. At the same time, HP's Enhanced Image REt 3600 technology provides more refined colour contrast and true-to-life images in document.

The HP LaserJet's expandable memory and built-in printing engine also allows it to handle more users and greater volumes of printing with effortless ease. The series features a fast print speed of up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) for both monochrome and colour, and accomplishes two sided printing at full speed, with the first page out in less than 10 seconds.

LaserJet 3000 and 3800

The new HP Color LaserJet 3000 and 3800 printer series are both designed to serve managed work-teams in medium and large businesses. A key hallmark of the two new series is their ability to create brilliant colour collateral at high speed.

The highlights of the 3800 series includes a fast print speed of up to 21 pages per minute (ppm) for both colour and monochrome, and the HP Imageret 3600 - an HP developed suite of innovative technologies that provides professional, high-quality colour documents and images. Colour Access Controls help avoiding unnecessary costs by limiting access to colour printing by a choice of user or application, while HP Web Jetadmin tracks colour usage and provides customised reports on usage. Different connectivity options for the LaserJet 3800 include wireless and hard-disk support via an EIO slot.

The HP Color LaserJet 3000 series is designed for slightly smaller work-teams of up to approximately 10 users in managed IT environments. The series offers fast, reliable mono laser printing with the added benefit of colour. Users can expect a fast print speed of up to 29 ppm for mono and 15 ppm for colour.
The 3000 series also features Imageret 2400 and HP Embedded Web Server which allows remote installation, configuration and monitoring of individual printers. Another common hallmark is the HP Instant-on Technology which saves time and money by reducing the printers' warm up time.
