Big rent hikes in Sharjah

Sharjah rental increases are likely to outpace Dubai this year with hikes from 40-95% discovered in a survey by Gulf News. Many people choose to work in Dubai and live in Sharjah to benefit from lower rent costs, but the gap with neighbouring Dubai is set to narrow with Dubai rent rises pegged at 15% this year.
