Etisalat hosts delegation from Atlantique Telecom

A delegation of senior representatives of Atlantique Telecom, headed by Joel Cadier, CEO, visited Emirates Telecommunications Corporation- Etisalat- where they were received by Salim Al Sharhan, Executive Vice President- Finance, Etisalat, at the Abu Dhabi Head Office.
Both sides discussed the sale of 17% shares in the existing LOTENY operations in Ivory Coast to regional investors.
Atlantique Telecom owns and operates networks in 7 West African countries such as Burkina Faso, Gabon, Central African Republic, Benin, Togo, Niger and Ivory Coast. The Ivory Coast is Atlantique Telecom's newest GSM license and the network will be launched in March 2006.
Etisalat owns 50% of Atlantique Telecom and also has the management contract for ten years.
