Insurance Business Group launches its website

The Insurance Business Group IBG which operates under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry DCCI launched its new website in a ceremony held at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai.
Omar Al Ameen the President of IBG delivered a speech on the occasion, he highlighted the major achievements of IBG in the past period such as formulating the constitution of the IBG. Al Ameen spoke of the General Assembly meeting which will be held next February, and also addressed the group plan to make a change in the constitution on the general assembly meeting to be held annually instead of once every six months.
After that Al Ameen launched the IBG website (www.ibg.ae), he spoke about the new website, the available information and the group plan to link the member' companies with IBG website.
Mark Greenwood from the Chartered Insurance Institute CII made a presentation on the Institute, its goals and history. He mentioned that the Institute has about 90.000 members and 260 staff. Greenwood highlighted the services offered by CII to the members and the establishment of CII office in the Middle East in November 2005.
Greenwood highlighted as well the CII projects in 2006, which include regional face to face training, establishing faculty of Islamic Finance, Online Examinations and enhancing and regionalizing the member's benefits.
