The Contact Centre participates in MECC 2006 Conference

Ajman Contact Centre, a subsidiary of Emirates Telecommunication Corporation - Etisalat - will take part in the " Middle East Call Centres Conference 2006" scheduled to be held from the 29th - 30th January at the Dubai Crown Plaza hotel.

Mr. Mohammed Bamakhrama, General Manager of The Contact Centre said: "Our participation in this annual event is part of our strategy to take place in all functions that are relevant to contact centers industry. This sector is witnessing a huge growth in many countries due to the booming in communication media technologies in all aspects."

Bamakhrama said that these gatherings help creating a ground base for connecting between contact centers and swap ideas in this field.

"The Contact Centre is currently preparing and setting up plans for a group of services. One of the services is GPS (Global Positioning System), the system will send a map of the district where the caller wishes to reach via MMS. The Contact Centre is currently working on signing an agreement with an international company to implement this system, " he added.

The Contact Centre is also planning to build a large database of frequently needed information such as hotels, hospitals and other businesses in the UAE, which will enable the caller to transact reservation and make an instant payment through The Contact Centre. Moreover, "Speech Recognition System" is installed and ready for service.

During the conference and exhibition, the Contact Centre will provide a presentation its Marketing Manager, Mr. Qasim Burney which will include a case study of a prototype of a small contact centre upgraded into a complete comprehensive centre that provides consultancy and technical services as well as call handling service and other related services.

During the exhibition, The Contact Center will showcase a number of services and products such as "Information Services" which provides information about recreational, tourism, commercial and other services organizations. The service is set to provide information to tourists and residents about different destinations of which functions and events are taking place in addition to information about the fastest routes to reach these destinations.

The Contact Centre is a comprehensive multimedia center that provides solutions to meet all needs. Ever since its establishment back in December 2000, The Contact Centre has been providing support and customer services to different sectors in the region. Incoming and outgoing calls handling, contact management, telesales and telemarketing services as well as consulting and marketing research are all examples of the services provided by The Contact Centre.
