SteelFab concludes successfully at Expo Centre Sharjah

The second edition of SteelFab, which concluded at Expo Centre Sharjah on January 24, 2006, had attracted a total of 4,274 trade visitors.
The three-day event also attracted 934 visitors from the Wood Working Middle East exhibition that was held at the same venue concurrently.
The exhibitors reported brisk business with more than 12 machines being sold at the show itself. Almost all reported receiving serious queries from across the region, many of which they were hopeful would translate in to confirmed orders in the coming weeks.
Given the focused profile, the event attracted a large number of trade visitors with a high percentage of end users, fabrication yard managers, production managers, procurement managers, estimators, planning and design engineers from the MENA region.
Satisfied with the response received, more than 50% of exhibitors at the show have already confirmed participation for the next edition.
SteelFab 2006 featured 212 brands and companies from 29 countries and was the Middle East's largest display of Steel, Fasteners, Accessories, Surface Preparation, Machinery and Tools, Welding and Cutting, Finishing and Testing equipment, and Coatings and Anti-Corrosion material.
A major highlight of the just concluded SteelFab was the display of environment friendly surface preparation and steel finishing equipment by Euroblast Middle East.
An important announcement that was made during the event was that by Tech International, an exhibitor. The company, on the sidelines of the show, divulged an ambitious growth plan to set up a state of the art jobshop facility on a 20,000 sq.mtr land in the Hamriyah Free Zone under the name of meTECH Jobshop F.Z.C.
SteelFab was organized by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).
