Etisalat aims to take operations to Europe

Mohammed Hassan Omran, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Telecommunications Corporation- Etisalat, said that the Corporation aims to be among the Top 10 telecommunications corporations in the world, having successfully grown from a local to international operator providing cutting-edge telecommunications, Internet and related services.
With reference to the latest news of Etisalat's ambition to purchase Denmark's TDC, he stated that, for the time being, there is no intention to take such a step, and added that the company's new owner may sell stake in their businesses outside Denmark.
Omran stressed that Etisalat will evaluate purchasing stake in their businesses as long as they are in line with Etisalat's expansion policy, which guides it's overseas investments.
