Omran confirmed that Europe is one of the most important geographical sectors where Etisalat is looking to establish a presence.
With reference to the latest news of Etisalat's ambition to purchase Denmark's TDC, he stated that, for the time being, there is no intention to take such a step, and added that the company's new owner may sell stake in their businesses outside Denmark.
Omran stressed that Etisalat will evaluate purchasing stake in their businesses as long as they are in line with Etisalat's expansion policy, which guides it's overseas investments.
