Hyundai recreational vehicle sales increase by 276 percent

Hyundai Division of Juma Al Majid Est., the sole distributor for Hyundai vehicles in the UAE announced the highlights of their achievements in the year 2005.
Juma Al Majid Est.'s remarkable performance can be ascribed to the strong sales of Tucson and the all new Sonata.
Sonata was successfully launched in March 2005, and has received tremendous response from the customers. Sonata is a very positive addition in D segment market and it has given a tough time to the existing market leaders. Sonata is available in 2.4 ltr. and 3.3 ltr. V6 engines.
Toward the end of year 2005, Hyundai has launched its Flagship Azera an E segment luxury Sedan available in 3.3 ltr. V6 engine. Azera has changed the perception of Hyundai in the market, and proved its superior quality and technology. Azera is equipped with 8 airbags, memory seats, climate control air condition, Parking sensors and many other features.
Another milestone in the year 2005 was the sales of 200 Trajet MPV's to Dubai Transport. These targets are mainly used at Dubai International Airport because of their seating and luggage capacity. Trajet has qualified among major competitors who bid for this contract.
