The changes will serve to better utilise Batelco's network capacity and ensure the continual efficiency in the service offered to SimSim customers.
Previously, SimSim Starter Packs did not carry an expiry date and as a result some customers purchased the packs more than a year ago and have kept them without activiating their packages.
Therefore to improve network efficiency and offer a better service to customers, starting 1st February 2006, all new Starter Packs will have an expiry date shown on the pack itself, and new packs must be activated prior to the expiry date otherwise the pack will expire and cannot be used.
Batelco also encourages all customers holding inactive SimSim Starter Packs to activate their accounts prior to 1st May 2006.
The changes to the Terms & Conditions only affect the account activation process. There will be no changes in the tariff for the SimSim service, with Batelco's rates remaining the most competitive in Bahrain and the region.
SimSim Starter Packs are sold at all Batelco Customer Service Centres and selected appointed resellers.
