Lloyds TSB Dubai appoints new Head of Finance

Leading Dubai based bank, Lloyds TSB, has today announced that it has appointed Pauline Marsh as the new Head of Finance for its regional operations.

Prior to joining Lloyds TSB, Pauline worked in Dublin with the global pharmaceutical company, Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS). She has worked in various capacities within the BMS group and has most recently held the position of General Manager - European Corporate Treasury. Before joining BMS in 1997, Pauline was with Old Mutual International (Guernsey) Limited and Irish Life Assurance Company.

Pauline's appointment follows a series of senior appointments at Lloyds TSB Dubai, which included Tim Goddard as Head of Operations and IT, Julian Ashall as Head of Risk & Compliance and Steve Snowdon as Senior Manager - Commercial Banking. Lloyds TSB is the only triple 'A' rated bank in Dubai and this appointment is part of its ongoing strategy to build up business excellence in its regional team.

Giles Cunningham, Regional Manager of Lloyds TSB UAE & Gulf states said, "I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Pauline, who will further strengthen our senior management. The main branch of Lloyds TSB is in Jumeirah, housed in a custom built landmark building, located on Al Wasl Road opposite Safa Park. The bank also now has two Customer Service Centres, one located in the heart of the Arabian Ranches residential development in the Arabian Ranches Community Centre and the other at Dubai HealthCare City.

Lloyds TSB Dubai employs 180 people and provides a full range of services including: Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Offshore Banking, Private Banking, Treasury Services and Trade Finance Services. In addition to market leading auto and home loans, credit cards, personal and commercial loans, current and savings accounts, and fixed term deposits, Lloyds TSB Dubai also offers easy accessibility to telephone banking and secure internet banking 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In 2005, Lloyds TSB became the first bank in the UAE to offer interest on current accounts for all registered customers.
