GE Security makes first consolidated appearance in the Middle East

GE Security made its regional debut at the Middle East's leading exhibition and conference for commercial security, Intersec Dubai 2006 today.
"Participation in Intersec 2006 is a significant step for GE Security which is expanding its regional presence at a rapid pace. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase GE's wide-ranging technological solutions in response to the growing demand across the region," said Bassem P. Fakhry, Region Leader for GE Security in the Middle East.
"The region is experiencing unprecedented growth across all sectors and the need to safeguard people, assets and facilities is greater than ever before. We are committed to being closer to our customers and effectively supporting their own growth plans by bringing the widest range of advanced electronic security solutions to the table," added Fakhry.
GE is showcasing its greatly expanded portfolio of security equipment at the three-day event and on the final day (31 January), will hold a full-day seminar to discuss a selected range of products and services, recent industry trends and product developments and other topics of interest. The seminar, presented by a number of GE specialists from its European headquarters and the region, will focus mainly on technical aspects of GE Security solutions most relevant to Middle Eastern markets. It will also describe briefly the new and growing regional presence of GE Security and what that will mean for its customers and business partners.

From home to industry to national security, GE Security covers the full spectrum of security solutions, including high-tech video monitoring, access control, detection of explosives and narcotics, fire alarm and life safety, residential and commercial intrusion detection.

GE Security Middle East headquarters are located in Dubai, with sales and customer support presence in Abu Dhabi, Doha and Beirut, and future plans are to add new offices in Riyadh and Dhahran this year. Intersec 2006 is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Exhibition Centre from January 29 to 31 and the GE Security stand can be found in Hall 6, Stand no. 1319.
