Bahrain Cycling Association pedaled by Batelco sponsorship

The Bahrain cycling calendar has once again been boosted by the sponsorship program between the Bahrain Cycling Association and its official partner Batelco.

The sponsorship deal that lasts for one year will cover all domestic programs including all disciplines of cycling and all varying levels. The Season hosts more than twenty races held at various locations in the Kingdom and features four age groups U17, U19, Men, and above 40. More than 50 players are competing for the podium positions representing six clubs as well as individuals.

The sponsorship will cover equipment costs such as safety helmets, bikes, and wheels as well as costs associated with organizing the events and their prizes.

Bahrain has recently finished third in the Arab senior and junior championship bagging five medals in an unprecedented feat.

Sh. Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Cycling Association expressing his gratitude to Batelco: 'Cycling has come along way in the last two years and we were able to make our mark in the regional scene'.
