Mobily looks to profit

Saudi's second mobile operator Mobily aims to post a profit by the end of 2007, and lift subscriber rates by 74% in 2006, according to its corporate communications manager quoted by Reuters. The telco had cut losses at the end of Q4 2005 to $0.8m, more than 98% down from the end of Q3. With a penetration rate of 56%, the Saudi mobile market still has room to grow.
