- PRESS RELEASE
Rewards Management Middle East (RMMEL), the company that operates the Air Miles Middle East loyalty programme, has boosted its management team with the appointment of Joe Nahhas from Loyalty Management UK (LMUK), the operators of the UK's highly successful Nectar loyalty programme.
Commenting on AIR MILES' success to date, Mr Nahhas said, "AIR MILES has established itself as the leading multi-participant loyalty programme in the UAE and Qatar, as Nectar has done in the UK signing up more than 50% of UK households. AIR MILES has clearly demonstrated its value to participating retailers and looks set to grow into new markets. There are some very exciting growth prospects ahead and significant opportunities for participants to draw further value by acquiring new customers and retaining existing customers. I am looking forward to contributing to that growth."
Mr Nahhas continued, "Leading retailers today realise that Customer Relationship Management is a key element of their marketing mix and critical to understanding customers, anticipating future trends, capturing a greater share of wallet and forging long term relationships with their best customers. AIR MILES is ideally placed to help our partners do this."
At LMUK, Mr Nahhas managed two of Nectar's largest partner relationships in a Relationship Marketing Director capacity, overseeing innovative multi-channel campaigns and championing new initiatives to make the programme more accessible to the customer base. Previously, he worked as a Group Manager at Siebel Systems UK, the leading supplier of CRM software, and with luxury consumer goods brands Montblanc and Alfred Dunhill. Mr Nahhas has an MBA from London Business School.
