The appointment of Mr. Nawash follows a very successful quarter which saw local revenues grow after Zebra's participation at Gitex 2005.
Nawash comes to Zebra from Canon Middle East where he was Senior Area Sales Manager. Prior to that, he was with Xerox, where he was Strategic Account Manager, Saudi Arabia for 2.5 years.
"Alaa brings with him years of local experience and detailed knowledge of the channel environment in the Middle East" explains, Paul Garner, Zebra's Regional Sales Manager.
Zebra is looking to improve communications with their business partners across the Gulf and enhance the support to the sales and distribution channel. A specially designed Sales Program is currently being introduced throughout Europe and is shortly hitting the Middle East.
"I am looking forward to working with Zebra, as Zebra realises the need for well developed strategies and tools. Combined with my knowledge of the market, this should be a winning hand," comments Nawash.
