GCC education surge

GCC countries are set to register the world's highest rates of admission to higher education institutions, according to a study by Dubai-based Madar Research Group. GCC governments upped the expenditure on education to close to $26bn during 2005, with increased budget allocations for 2006. GETEX Dubai 2006, being held from 12-14 April, will have up to 438 exhibitors offering education options in 38 countries.
