Banyan Tree to manage Al Gurm

Abu Dhabi-based Aldar Properties has signed up Banyan Tree Group to operate Al Gurm Resort and Spa in the UAE capital. The resort, being built off Abu Dhabi island, is being billed as a tropical island and spa complex with 71 private suites and 90 island chalets. It is due to open in Q4 2007.
