- PRESS RELEASE
In anticipation of one of the Middle East's most prominent economic events, the Jeddah Hilton has been busy preparing for this year's Jeddah Economic Forum, which will run from February 11th to 13th.
Over the three-day forum, Jeddah Hilton will accommodate up to 250 guests of the forum in its various suites, rooms and executive floors, all equipped with high-speed internet, plasma TV's and 24-hour personalised service. To ensure the highest level of service, the hotel has it 750-strong staff fully trained for such a prestigious event. These staff, amongst many daily activities, will serve 2500 lunches in its restaurants, while nightly gala dinners will feature international cuisine from around the world.
"It is an honour to be selected for the five consecutive year, to host such an important regional event. As the region's leading hotel group we have high standards both in terms of service and facilities, and our selection as the official venue is evidence that we are recognised as a leading provider of excellent hospitality," said Hagop Doghramadjian, General Manager, Jeddah Hilton.
Organised by the Jeddah Marketing Board, that operates under the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Forum is now in its seventh year. This year's three-day event falls under the heading of 'Seeding Potentials for Economic Growth; Honouring Identity and Celebrating Common Grounds', and will address the need to identify common ground, whilst discussing the latest current affairs facing the Kingdom and global economy.
To ensure all delegates have access to the Forum's proceedings, and are able to log wirelessly on to the internet, the entire hotel complex is equipped with multi-core fibre optic cabling. Additionally, the hotel will again provide the giant fully air-conditioned, carpeted and decorated tent inside the hotel to serve as a luxurious dining area for the women attending the forum.
"Event management is something the hotel excels in as we lay on numerous events ranging in size and requirement. The Forum allows us to use all our experience to ensure the smoothest of operations for the three-day duration. It goes without saying that we have excellent safety and security measures in place," added Doghramadjian.
