Customer satisfaction, visibility to customers' needs and the ability to respond to them in real-time has becomes a critical competitive driver in the automotive industry.
"As a recent distributor for Renault vehicles, we believe our extensive service facilities and follow-up have enhanced the brand value of the car making it feasible for us to achieve a 150 per cent increase in sales in 2006 with an extensive range of 14 vehicles catering to the passenger and commercial segments of the market," says Michel Ayat, General Manager of Arabian Automobiles.
"With more satisfied customers, an organization can better grow margins while lowering the cost of service. Customer and after sales service are major elements in Arabian Automobiles strategy to ensure a total and recurring enjoyable ownership experience to each of their customers. The sales process does not end when a customer drives out the door with his new car. From pre-sales to after sales and repair services, we build a long-term relationship with our customers," he added.
AAC has pioneered many after sales service incentives in the automotive sector, the most popular among them being the 'Sleep easy' service which offers the advantage of overnight service along with free taxi drop. The taxi drop is available for all AAC customers who come to drop their cars for service even if it is free service or non paid warranty repair.
'This is a very convenient way to service your car and AAC provides free taxi drop to all customers who leave their cars at our service centres in Dubai and Sharjah. This complimentary service is unique to AAC and the first such initiative by any automotive dealer in the region," says Abhijeet Pandit, Marketing Manager of AAC.
"Quick turnaround time is the key for most customers and a selection from the extensive service menu such as a 15 point check up including engine oil and filter replacement with a car wash can be done within an hour. Service at AAC involves more than just repair and pick-up, a dedicated team of customer care representatives conduct a follow-up on the performance of the vehicle within three days of the sale and after any service at the workshops.
'Renault customers will shortly be provided with a detailed service contract that would provide added peace of mind. All service and repairs done at AAC workshop are given a warranty for a period of six months. Also after each service the Service Advisor/Consultant advice on imminent service issues," he added.
