The theme for the 2006 forum is 'Change and Innovation', and the programme's seven headline speakers, all of whom will be live at the event, will include Michael Eisner, former chairman and CEO of the Walt Disney Company, and Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan.
This will be the third Leaders in Dubai forum, and event director Alan Kelly said: 'Leaders in Dubai is the region's largest annual meeting of successful like-minded individuals. The learning and discussion generated during the past 24 months has been integrated into companies around the Gulf.
'This year, we expect 2,000 delegates to discuss the issues and challenges presented in an era of accelerating change and innovation, at corporate, macro-economic and political levels.'
Guiding delegates' thought processes will be Edward de Bono, Harry Dent Jr and CK Prahalad, three strategists who have pioneered creative thinking in business and education for the past two decades.
Lavinia Bromilow, the forum's marketing director, explained that the organising team were building on a community spirit among delegates.
She said: 'We have already seen a steady stream of bookings from delegates who have attended the first two events. This year, repeat delegates will become part of the Leaders in Dubai Business Forum community, giving them access to learning materials and speaker content through an online Resource Bank, as well as priority booking for seats and exclusive speaker events.'
Bromilow will be using a number of new media channels to build on the shared learning and thought processes of delegates, including online discussion forums and intranets for pre-event online networking.
