Cargo surcharges up 13%

Airlines are set to raise cargo fuel surcharges by 12-13% from 16 February, following a rise in the fuel price index, reported Gulf News citing industry sources. Emirates SkyCargo has lifted surcharges from Dh0.75 to Dh0.85 per kg for cargo from the UAE to the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent, and from Dh1.65 to Dh1.85 per kg to the rest of the world.
