Hauff Technik experiences the power of the regional market at Middle East Electricity Exhibition 2006
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, February 08 - 2006 at 09:41
- PRESS RELEASE
Hauff-Technik GmbH of Germany, a European leader in the manufacture of building entry and seal systems for cables and pipes, is exploring the possibility of entering the Middle East market by exhibiting at Middle East Electricity 2006.
In order to build contacts in Dubai, and especially to demonstrate its Segmento, Sumo and Zappo product innovations - Hauff-Technik is exhibiting at the Middle East Electricity Exhibition from 5th to 8th February 2006 (Stand 5B01) at Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
Their initial impressions have been highly positive. Dr. Seibold says "The first two days of Middle East Electricity have been fantastic for us. By the end of the first day we had already made over 40 interesting new international contacts, and are confident that eight of these will develop into concrete business. This is already far more than we had expected and is much better than the response we are used to from other shows. The results so far show the business power of Dubai and the Middle East - Middle East Electricity has delivered a high quality audience of regional and international decision makers, and we have already decided to take part at next year's exhibition.
Hauff-Technik has been engineering and manufacturing in two plants in Germany for over 50 years. The company distributes its six product groups worldwide through six of its own sales offices in Germany and fourteen national agencies in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
Acknowledged as a technological leader by the industry, Hauff-Technik produces both standard products and special-purpose components for specialised applications, such as the stainless steel flange plates for sealing buildings with damp-proof membranes, as used in the newbuild office building for SAP, Walldorf.
Current major projects include the new Allianz Arena football stadium in Munich, the Infineon AG research centre, also in Munich, and the biggest construction site in Germany - the new Neue Messe exhibition centre in Stuttgart.
On its standard products, Hauff-Technik guarantees a maximum delivery time of 22 hours anywhere in Germany, while also making every effort to keep delivery times to destinations outside Germany as short as possible. Dedicated customer service agents are available in the Hauff-Technik Customer Support & Back Office to answer customers' questions, and ensure speedy and effective provision of information, advice or technical service.
Hauff-Technik has an extremely broad-based customer structure, supplying major power utilities, gas and water service installers, industrial customers and private home builders. The company has a good reputation amongst architects and planning engineers, and is always on the invitation-to-tender list.
Hauff-Technik is presenting its latest three products - Segmento, Sumo and Zappo at Middle East Electricity 2006. The Segmento cable entry system is ten times faster to fit than the existing system. It is also lighter and can be installed in any mix of combinations. Segmento seals power, communication, data and control systems cables. Differently coloured segments and a new sealing material allow cables to be laid easily at any time, even once installation of the entry system has been completed.
The Sumo stainless steel external pipe seal is ideal for plumbing, heating and air-conditioning applications, as well as in underground engineering and pipe-laying work, for sealing all standard-sized media pipes. The split version of the Sumo pipe seal was specially developed for fitting to already laid pipes.
To seal additional service connections - for example during renovation work or in later installation work - Hauff-Technik has developed the ZAPPO underground pipe boring system, enabling trenchless installation without the need to dig up the land. Using the Zappo system, the service connections are laid backwards from the cellar or basement, without disturbing the ground surface. "With our high-quality, innovative products and fast, flexible customer service, we aim to meet the high demands and quality standards of the construction industry in the Middle East and to develop long-term customer relations," concluded Seibold.
