LG Electronics launches the smallest and fastest portable Notebook in KSA

The 15.4 inch Widescreen Premium Notebook PC and the 14.1 Widescreen Piano Black Notebook will be available in stores across the kingdom to meet the needs of a wide range users.

The 15.4 inch Widescreen S1 Express Dual smart entertainer features a powerful 3-D graphics card, the ATI Mobility Radeon X1K series, featuring a 15.4 inch widescreen with a resolution up to (1680X1050). On the other hand, the 14.1 inch Widescreen T1 Express Dual Ultra Slim Entertainer features Dolby 5.1 CH, SRS sound and LG's exclusive sound technology, XTS Pro. The T1Express Dual is regarded as the Super lightweight notebook weighing 1.9kgs only.

LG's premium laptops are built with an Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology, featuring Intel Core Duo Processor 1.66GHz that boosts processing power approximately 1.7 times better than existing single core systems. Based on the dual processor platform, the S1 and T1 Express Dual laptops are perfect for processing complicated and diverse work effectively and fast as well as processing multi high performance applications, such as digital content creation, virus scanners and system backups.

These premium laptops from LG come with sports superior performance and stylish looks. Boasting a premium piano black design in an elegant glossy finish, this product is expected to lead the trend in notebook PC design.

According to Mr C K Cho, General Manager of LG Electronics KSA, the LG notebook has a particularly strong design competitiveness, developed by the LG Electronics Corporate Design Centre branches operating in Italy, New Jersey and Tokyo.

The S1 and T1 Express Dual feature the next-generation Bluetooth, the Blue Core 4 technology, which ensures faster and more stable Bluetooth connection that delivers data rates of up to three times faster than the current Bluetooth devices. Along with the Bluetooth advanced technology, these systems are fitted with a dual Hexa-band antenna that ensures a seamless and stable wireless access. Also, the 802.11a/b/g tri-mode wireless LAN delivers a transmission speed of up to 54Mbps which is five times faster than the existing LAN.

Last but not least is the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), which provides the new LG laptops with a powerful and efficient security solution. Along with the TPM, the S1 and T1 are equipped with a Fingerprint reader, where a simple finger swipe logs known users on to the system, applications and websites. It could also be used to encrypt files and folders for an additional layer of security.

Mr C K Cho, General Manager of LG Electronics KSA further emphasised that LG's cutting-edge convergence technology, combined with its design competitiveness, would allow it to take the lead in sales in the premium laptop PC notebook market.

Moreover, LG Electronics had launched two new dual core-based models P1 & M1 with a high features and advanced technology in a light weight and slim sport design.

The two new LG models, P1 Express Dual and M1 Express Dual, are packed with entertainment and business features ranging from enhanced graphics to better responsiveness and support for greater security options. Featuring Intel's Core Duo Processors, the super slim and light notebooks are powered by the latest Pentium M processor with a 667MHz front side bus, while the accompanying chipset handles up to 2GB of DDR2 memory and provides support for Express Card (PCI Express) options. Both the P1 Express Dual and the M1 Express Dual notebooks support all multimedia applications, from music and movies to design work and games.

LG Notebooks with dual-core processors have significant performance increases that allow users to run multiple high-performance applications which will allow LG Electronics to lead the notebook market in the region with the new advanced collection of LG Notebooks.
