DTCM participates in Lufthansa Annual Global Sales Conference

More than 200 managers from the Middle East & Africa region joined the annual conference patronized by Lufthansa CEO, Mr. Wolfgang Mayerhuber. The DTCM Overseas Representative office in Germany was represented by its Director, Ms. Mara Kaselitz.

The event helped to strengthen relations between Lufthansa and the DTCM and outlined the importance of the partnership for the future.
In 2004, Dubai witnessed a 51 per cent increase in the number of German hotel guests. There were 189, 181 German guests in Dubai hotel between January and September, 2005

Mr. Mayerhuber and Mr. Thierry Antinori, Lufthansa Board Member, appreciated Ms. Kaselitz and the DTCM team for working towards strengthening mutual cooperation and understanding between Lufthansa and DTCM.

The Lufthansa Dubai delegation was headed by Mr. Joachim Steinbach, Vice President, Sales & Service, SE Europe, Africa & Middle East.

Ms. Kaselitz officially invited Mr. Mayrhuber to visit Dubai to witness the tremendous transformation that the emirate has made in the last decade to establish itself as leading leisure and tourist destination.

The DTCM Germany office, made its presence felt at the representative platform in the foyer of the conference room. Many of the participants visited the DTCM stand to update themselves about Dubai and its latest projects.

Around 200 DTCM bags containing information about Dubai were distributed among the delegates of the conference. Ms Kaselitz spoke on the occasion highlighting the important role of Lufthansa in offering enhanced air connectivity between Dubai and Germany.

Ms. Kaselitz outlined the fruitful partnership over the last 15 years and the continuous cooperation that has resulted in full, high frequency flights from Germany to Dubai.
