Mike Bridge, Regional Sales Director of DSL Exhibitions comments,

'This will be the first time that well known Dubai agents and developers will be showing en masse, exclusively under one roof in an Irish venue. Dubai has become the fastest growing city in the world and a world class destination for business and tourism. Aer Lingus has recently announced that it will begin direct flights from Dublin to Dubai from March 28th. This is likely to spark a further influx of Irish investors to the Emirate, which has already proved a very popular destination since the market opened up three years ago. Huge investment has been ploughed into Dubai and it is constantly introducing world class projects in a city that offers unlimited opportunities, strong population growth, high rental returns and new real estate laws designed to protect the investor, expected to be announced in the immediate future.'

'The new law which will combine the features of both 99 year renewable lease and freehold rights in selected locations will accelerate the already rapid real estate growth. Dubai's plans include a mega theme park twice the size of Disney World Florida, Mall of Arabia - the worlds biggest shopping mall, the Restless Planet - housing over 150 animatronic dinosaurs and even an indoor ski slope in the desert, will create a first class resort atmosphere for holidays in the region.'

The real estate sector in Dubai is outstanding in its diversity. There are an array of projects being built which are without a doubt, the best in the world. Prices compared with other international resorts are still very competitive, with studio apartments starting from as little as £45,000 and villas from only £200,000. Dubai has become one of the most exciting investment destinations in the world at the moment.

At the Dubai Property Show in March, visitors will be able to see for themselves the abundant lifestyle opportunities available in the city, as well as meet experts with all the information about living and buying real estate in the UAE. This will be an event that consumers cannot afford to miss, bringing Dubai to Ireland for the very first time.'

The show will feature the many of the exciting projects in Dubai such as:

• Palm Jumeirah, considered as one of the most unique and exclusive real estate projects in the world. It provides spectacular homes, world famous waterfront resorts, boutique hotels, shopping, spas, marinas, all providing a tranquil retreat from the stresses of everyday life.

• Dubai Sports City 'DSC' is the world's only integrated purpose designed venue which is expected to be completed by 2007. This $2 billion city will host the first Manchester United soccer school outside Europe, a golf course designed by South African Ernie Els, a David Lloyd tennis school and a Butch Harmon golf academy, the first outside North America. DSC development is being created as one of the star attractions of the mega Dhs 18 billion Dubailand project.

• International City will feature country themed architecture of residences, business opportunities, and tourist attractions. It will cover 800 hectares and its geometry was inspired by the intricately patterned traditional carpets of the Middle East. Once completed, the project will contain studio, one and two bedroom apartment units and accommodate over 60 thousand residents.

• Jumeirah Beach Residence is a seaside development on 2.2 million sq.ft. of vacant land along the Jumeirah Beach Coastline, with the objective of meeting the need for luxurious residential units at an affordable price on freehold basis. It is the last of the beach front properties giving you year round 'Beach-Resort' lifestyle with beach facilities just an elevator distance away.

Properties at the show will cover the vast range of 'off plan' and key ready freehold properties including villas, town houses, apartments, lofts, studios, water homes, golf resort homes, serviced apartments and many more. If you are looking to either buy a holiday home or a property as an investment or even plan to buy a property to retire, this three day show will offer thousands of properties to suit every budget in one of the most exciting property and holiday destinations in the world. There will be a variety of competition giveaways promoted at the show by a selection of exhibitors, one of which will be the chance to win a fabulous holiday prize package which includes Premium Class return tickets from Dublin to Dubai courtesy of IFA Hotels and Resorts and Aer Lingus.

DSL Exhibitions can arrange suitable finance if needed, through an array of recommended lenders, with mortgages being available of up to 80% of purchase.

The exhibition will be held at the RDS Irish International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Dublin which will be open daily on Friday 24th from 12.00 - 18.00pm, and Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March from 10.30am -18.00pm. Entry is free.
