The orientation day covered a number of activities, including a tour of the faculties and the programs the university offers. Students were also informed of the admission and registration conditions.
Dr Ali Al Amyra, Chancellor of the AUST Fujairah campus, said, "The main objective of the orientation is to acquaint new students with their faculties and the specialty subjects that the students wish to pursue. It also raises their awareness of university policies, the students' rights and duties, and how they can manage their studies."
"We firmly believe in the need for dialogue and expertise in order to achieve the university's three-dimensional policy of Education, Information and Investments," he added.
