The Conference, which will witness several leading experts in the global retail industry speaking on important issues including global retail trends, impact of customers' emotions on sales, latest developments in retail technology, and strategy formulation and implementation in retail setups, will be organised on the sidelines of the Retail Middle East exhibition (RME).
Other strategic partners in the event include Cologne-based European Retail Institute (EHI), European Retail Academy, and the Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI), the only trade association committed to serving the interests of all those involved in retail marketing.
The exhibition, to be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from April 18-20, 2006, is the Middle East's only exclusive and dedicated retail trade event.
'The decision to sponsor the Retail Professional's Conference is part of a long term strategy by UMDASCH to make significant inroads in to the Middle East retail arena,' said Umdasch branch manager in Dubai Mr. Christian Kronsteiner.
'We are confident that the retail boom in the Middle East will continue for years to come and we are keen to expand with the market development. Sponsoring the Conference is just one way of making our presence felt in the region,' he added.
Already, the company has landed some top contracts in the Middle East including in the UAE. Major projects in the region in which it has been actively involved include the Paris Gallery in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and the indoor ski slope in the Mall of the Emirates, also in Dubai, among others.
With an experience spanning over 50 years and involving 40,000 store projects in 50 different countries, it won't be long before UMDASCH, Europe's leading shop-fitting and store-designing company, takes the Middle East Retail industry by storm.
UMDASCH's decision to sponsor the Retail Professional's Conference and its impressive presence at the forthcoming RME is just the beginning.
