Cellucom opened its first retail outlet in Kuwait in 2004 in Al Mubarak Street, Salmiya and also launched its value added service portal UClub, www.uclubme.com, for mobile phone users looking for additional content for their handsets.
Cellucom has adopted a two-pronged approach for its plans in the region by focusing on both its retail outlet and product portfolio expansion. The company is broadening its product line by placing greater emphasis on its concept of 'MOBILITY' to its customers.
"An expanded market presence in the region will enable us to cater to the changing needs of our customers, irrespective of their geographical location. Moreoever, our range of value added services and features will significantly boost customer confidence and build customer loyalty. Mobility will definitely be the core retail focus for Cellucom in high potential markets such as Kuwait. Cellucom has been promoting a range of devices in addition to mobile phones to complement their mobility concept, such as laptops, PDAs, enhancements and IT accessories.

The ongoing implementation of the GCC expansion drive that covers Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE have made Cellucom one of the fastest growing retail chains in the region.
