- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, October 16 - 2001 at 11:42
- PRESS RELEASE
For the first time in the Middle East, Motorola is adorning its phones with gold and diamonds, launching a line of jewelled bezels (covers) from Damas for the public today.
"The multi-language capability, including Arabic*, allows for real time communication in the language of your choice," Kachkouche added.
The V66 also leads the way with its GPRS 'always on, always connected' faster access to the mobile Internet, making it ideal for those who want information at their fingertips. GPRS** means you can take that call from your friend and instantly switch to the mobile Internet service to find indispensable information on the latest football match.
"Damas is delighted to associate itself with a global major in telecommunications such as Motorola," said Tawfiq Abdullah, Chairman, Damas Jewellery. "The phone bezels reflect Dama's leadership in jewellery design and fashion."
Compact and curvaceous, it will slip easily into the smallest of handbags and at a mere 79g this phone really does fit into the palm of your hand.
The bezels range from 11grams for both white and yellow gold, to 4 carats of diamonds and 13 grams. The inside of the phone can also be personalised with a choice of red, yellow or green backlighting.
Motorola also launched a range of colourful, and trendy bezels with unique designs and style.
"As every Motorola V.66 phone owner knows, style is about the right combination of details and this phone lets you choose the combination that suits you," added Kachkouche.
