LG Super Slim TVs have already become a craze among customers looking for lighter and thinner TVs. Now with purchase of every LG Super Slim 29-inch TV, customers will get free 3-months' membership of the fitness centre at Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers along with a free DVD player and trolley. For every 32-inch Super Slim TV, they get free 6-months' membership, and a free Home Theatre system and trolley!
Rakesh Shah, General Manager - Al Yousuf Electronics, said:
"The promotion is excellent value and a great incentive to get in shape. Al Yousuf is a strong believer in adding value for its customers, and this promotion is proving to be very successful."
Valid on LG 29-inch and 32-inch models, the promotion runs at all Al Yousuf Electronics LG showrooms in Dubai.
With the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers, the LG customers get one more stylish reason to work up a sweat to combat their active lifestyle. The hotel's spanking new Creek Health Club on the ground floor had recently underwent a Dhs 250,000 refurbishment exercise. The customers will love the ambience including brand new solid maple wood flooring and floor to ceiling windows that offer natural light and spectacular views of the swimming pool.
Mr. C.Y. Kim, Product Sales Manager - LG Gulf, said: "Excellent promotional campaigns are a feature of LG across the Middle East and Africa. And we're delighted to see LG Electronics join hands with a much respected hospitality brand like Sheraton."
Released last year, LG's Super Slim TVs are the world's first line of super slim cathode-ray tube (CRT) digital televisions. LG's Super Slim Digital TVs have reduced the conventional Color Picture Tube's (CPT) length of 500 mm to 352.4mm, an industry first.
LG Electronics believes it can slim down the depth of a 32-inch-screen (81.3cm) TV tube even further, to as little as 25cm, in the coming years.
The super slim CRT versions offer some of the size and style innovations of LCD TVs and PDPs, but are more competitively priced.
Says Antony Wade, Deputy General Manager of the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers,
"We are pleased to be a partner in this exciting campaign as we believe that in today's hustle and bustle world, LG and Sheraton share a strong belief in the importance of well-being. This partnership will give a chance to LG customers the opportunity to experience the warm and personal hospitality of Dubai Sheraton."
LG Electronics has received an award for one of its Super Slim models. The company was honoured with an Innovations citation at CES 2005 for its 30-inch direct-view slim CRT HDTV model, DU-30FY10.
While worldwide sales of CRT-based TVs have been relatively flat, they still account for the lion's share of sales and analysts predict they will account for 70 per cent of TV unit sales in 2007.
