DM to organize legal enforcement seminar

Dubai Municipality is organizing a seminar on legal enforcement for its inspectors in the Markets Department.
Ahmed Ibrahim Al Zarouni, Acting Head of Human Resources Development Section in the Personnel Department said there will be three other training courses this week.
Al Zarouni said the Legal enforcement seminar would be organized from 8am to 2pm during 19 to 21 February at the Rashidiya Public Library and would be attended by a group of 20 inspectors from the Markets Department of the municipality.
He said the seminar is aimed at acquainting the enforcement officials their role in controlling the violations, the rules and regulations and the extent they can go as far as implementing the rules.
Al Zarouni said the second training course "ISO 14001 Lead Auditor" would be organized from 8am to 2pm during 20 to 22 February at Hor Al Anz Public Library and would be attended by 22 employees from the Public Health Department of the municipality.
He said the course is aimed at helping the participants understand the benefit of implementing ISO 14001, enable participants to discover how to effectively monitor the implementation of an integrated management system and also introduce them to the legal requirements to each management system.
The third course, "Occupational safety and hygiene" would be organized from 8am to 2pm during 20 to 22 February at the Rashidiya Public Library. The course would be attended by 20 employees from the Public Health Department of the municipality.
The fourth course, "Knowledge management" would be organized from 8am to 2pm on 22 February and is aimed at qualifying the leadership of the municipality.
