RAK to offer space tourism

The Government of Ras Al Khaimah has entered into an agreement with Space Adventures Ltd to build a $265m spaceport in the emirate. This will be the base for flights of a Russian built suborbital spacecraft. Space Adventures Ltd is the same company that took the world's first three space tourists to the International Space Station.
