There was an overwhelming response from the members of the Association, spreading across a number of the Emirates. The new members of the council will take their positions once the electoral Committee announces the results.
Dr Ahmed Ankit, Vice President of External and Cultural Affairs at AUST, and Chairman of the Alumni Association, said, "We are very pleased with the huge response and the interest shown by the Alumni members."
"It is good to know that all the members want to serve the Alumni. The door is open for all our qualified members to join the council and implement group programs. These include organizing conferences, workshops, and seminars that reach out to junior students and the community at large."
AUST Network's Alumni Association is organizing its second Alumni Conference in late March.
