Qatar-Kuwait pipeline hopes fade

The $2bn gas pipeline project between Qatar and Kuwait, first agreed in July 2000, is probably not now feasible, Qatari Energy Minister Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah told reporters. He said Saudi Arabia's refusal to allow the pipeline to pass through its territorial waters was blocking the project.
