Perfect Wedding Show to open tomorrow

The Perfect Wedding Show, which opens at Expo Centre Sharjah on February 21, 2006, will feature daily fashion shows by well known international fashion designers.

Among the famous designers who would be participating in the fashion shows are Mohammad Zain El Din from Lebanon, and UM Zabia from the Dubai-based Old Heritage House, a reputed fashion house.

While Mohammad will unveil several of his latest collections of evening and wedding dresses during the show, Zabia will focus on both traditional as well as modern wear including her latest collection of evening and wedding dresses.

Another major attraction at these shows will be the display of Shaila and Abaya by Dubai's Hanayan, a name well known for its traditional Arabic women's wear.

Besides fashion shows, the 4-day Perfect Wedding will also present lectures on the latest trends in make up by internationally well-known make up artist Maik Fawaz.

For soon to be married couples, the Perfect Wedding Show will be a treasure house of innovative products and ideas. It will display wedding decoration items, fashion and jewellery wear including bridal wear, health and beauty items, and wedding stationery, and services including catering, wedding venues, wedding entertainment including traditional dance troops, sound and light services, car and limousine rental, and photography and video, travel agencies, home furnishings and appliances, and banking services among others.

The Perfect Wedding Show will also host a dedicated Asian Wedding pavilion.

The Pavilion will predominantly focus on the various contemporary trends of Asian traditional weddings and will primarily target the Asian expatriate communities in the GCC region.

The Perfect Wedding Show is being organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).
