Qatar, $3bn petrochems plant

Qatar is to set up a $3bn petrochemical complex with a South Korean company, Minister of Energy Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah told reporters after opening the three-day Gas Summit 2006. He said the Korean firm had also been assigned to identify opportunities for other mega projects and conduct relevant feasibility studies.
