imcan results and strategy

imcan for Brokerage and Trading (a member of the Tantash Group) held its annual staff meeting headed by Mr. Ahmad Tantash, Chairman of imcan, who used this occasion to speak proudly of the achievements made by his firm in the year 2005.

The meeting also discussed the company's strategy for 2006.

Mr. Tantash started the meeting, which was held at the Dead Sea Mövenpick Hotel, by congratulating his team members on the phenomenal financial value that the firm had gained in the previous year, for imcan had traded over 1 billion Jordanian Dinars in the Amman Stock Exchange during 2005

In recognition of his team's efforts Mr. Tantash praised all members of staff present for both the high sense of responsibility and the high standards of work ethics they demonstrate in everything do for the firm.

Commenting on the team's performance Mr. Tantash said, "I am proud of the great sense of loyalty the members of our team reflect in their work. I feel that we all share the same goal and mission, for we all work for the sole purpose of seeing imcan advance and prosper."

He added, "I feel a great sense of pride each time I see our organization gain the recognition it so much deserves. We can now affirm that we have gained market leadership status in the fields of brokerage and trading on both a national and a regional scale, and there is no doubt that without our string team we wouldn't be where we are today, and I thank you all for everything you have done for imcan".

Attendees also went through the firm's business plans and objectives for the year 2006 whereby the objectives for each of the firm's divisions were discussed in great detail. For the year 2006 imcan is to place a greater focus on elevating the level of the services it presents to its clients, and in turn a great importance is going to be placed on achieving greater client satisfaction, elevating the quality of its brokerage and consultancy services to perfection, and in turn attracting more clients.

A lively discussion between attendees was made on how the afore mentioned objectives are to be achieved, and different proposed strategies were discussed, through a healthy give and take of ideas.

During the discussions Mr. Tantash stated that the firm places great importance on its human resources. "We invest in our team and we provide them with the perfect work environment to both expand on their skills and to continually achieve excellence in their careers. imcan was established based upon the modern specifications and standards needed for any team member to expand on his or her abilities. Our work environment and corporate culture is a healthy one, and it is precisely this environment that helps our team members work to achieve more in the future," he said.

Imcan's annual staff-meeting this year, also featured some inspiring competitions. These competitions helped to motivate the employees, who partook in team games including the "Wooden Puzzle", and drawing competitions. Through these competitions, the team members symbolically reflected their devotion for the firm.

These fun activities did not only reflect the strong sense of team spirit enjoyed by every member of the imcan family, but they also added an element of fun and excitement to the event as a whole.

Finally, and as a token of the strong sense of gratitude felt by imcan's management towards their hard-working team members, deserving staff members were also awarded for their achievements during the meeting, and on another level, the meeting presented a perfect opportunity for clients and employees of the firm to interact, and to enjoy the glory of imcan's achievements.
