Argentina TV to present special show on Dubai

The impressive transformation of Dubai into a leading international tourism and business hub and the massive developments underway in the emirate will soon get huge exposure among three million television viewers in Argentina.

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) recently hosted a team from the Argentinean TV channel, Telefe Channel 11, which visited the emirate to produce a special show on Dubai.

The show, aired every week covering one destination in each episode, is watched by more than three million people in Argentina in addition to millions of TV viewers in countries where it is retransmitted.

The show's host is Alejandro Marley Wiebe, a local celebrity and host of the Latin version of American Idol.

The visiting crew is currently carrying out the shooting to highlight different aspects of Dubai, its ways of living, customs and traditions, cuisines, real estate and tourism industy.

Ali Abdul Wahab and Talal Al Suwaidi from DTCM Missions briefed the team about the latest developments in Dubai and the efforts of the DTCM in promoting the emirate in overseas markets.
